The Cost For The Necessary Work Is Expected To Be 177-Thousand Dollars. The Grant Requires A 30-Percent Match From The City, Which Will Come From Donations. So Far, 90-Thousand Dollars Has Been Raised. City Officials Say If The Grant Doesn’t Get Approved, The Tower Could Be Closed Until Enough Money Is Raised For Its Rehabilitation.
