The Kingsport Police Department Will No Longer Be Using Twitter To Post Updates And Alerts Due To A New Fee For Auto-Posting. The Department Previously Auto-Posted All News Releases And Traffic Alerts To The Twitter Feed, But Officials Said It Has Become Cost Prohibitive To Continue The Practice. The Information Will Be Posted To The Police Department’s Website And Its Facebook Page.
