Employees Are Being Lost To Nearby Agencies With Higher Wages, Which Is Causing Overtime Costs To Rise. If This Proposal Goes Forward, Medics Would Receive Benefits From The Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System, Which Is Expected To Be A Major Retention Incentive. The Move Would Also Open Up The Possibility Of Grant Funding. The Public Safety Committee Is Expected To Meet Again Next Month.
