The “Heart Of Appalachia” Tourism Authority In Saint Paul, Virginia Has Received A 50-Thousand Dollar Grant. The Money Is Being Provided Through The Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority. The Funds From The Grant Will Be Used To Print Tourism Marketing Materials As Well As Develop And Revive The More Than 100-Mile Heart Of Appalachia Scenic Drive And Bike Route. The Heart Of Appalachia Was Created By The Virginia General Assembly In 1993 As The Regional Authority On Travel Information For The Seven Counties Of Far Southwest Virginia And The City Of Norton.
