A Johnson City Man Is Facing Multiple Charges After He Allegedly Assaulted First Responders Then Left The Scene Of A Multiple Vehicle Crash. It Happened Monday Near South Roan Street And Buffalo Streets When A Toyota Prius Was Reportedly Observed Driving Recklessly And Fleeing The Scene Of The Crash. Officers Attempted A Traffic Stop When The Vehicle Drove Into Oncoming Traffic To Escape. The Vehicle Stopped On West Walnut Street When The Driver Caleb Darr Allegedly Jumped Out Of The Vehicle And Advanced Aggressively On An Officer. During An Attempt To Arrest Darr He Reportedly Hit One Officer In The Face And Kicked Both Officers Several Times. Darr Was Eventually Arrested And Is Being Held On A $17,500 Bond.
