The Greeneville City Council Has Approved Its 2023-24 Fiscal Year Spending Plan On First Reading. The Budget Calls For A 28-Cent Property Tax Increase For City Homeowners. The Extra Money Will Fund Property For A New Middle School, Hvac Projects For The Schools And Just Over $1.2 Million In New Positions And Salary Increases For Town Employees. The Budget Will Have To Pass One More Reading Before It Becomes Final.
