James Buckland Is Charged In A 17-Count Indictment Including Attempted Capital Murder, And Several Firearm Charges. Buckland Requested A Bond, But Judge John Kilgore Denied His Request. Chief Lane Responded To The Norton Walmart And Encountered Buckland Walking In The Area. That Encounter Turned Into A Firefight, In Which Both Lane And Buckland Were Injured. The Judge Set And October 19th Trial Date For Buckland In Wise County Circuit Court. He Remains In Jail In Duffield.
