The Bristol Virginia City Council Told School Leaders, They Can’t Afford To Give Them A Million Dollar Increase In Funding This Fiscal Year. This City Took A Half-A-Million From The Schools And Transferred It To The General Fund Due To Budget Woes. But School Superintendent Keith Perrigan Has Offered Up A Suggestion To Re-Allocate A Combination Of State Lottery And Federal Relief Funds To Bridge The Gap For The Upcoming Year. The Proposal Will Now Head Back To The City Council For Approval.
