The Nuclear Regulatory Commission Has Set A Licensee Performance Review Meeting For Next Month Concerning Operations At Nuclear Fuel Services In Erwin. The Meetings Are Held Every Two Years And Allows For Review Of Safety Operation, Radiological Controls, Facility Support And Other Areas. NFS Produces Reactor Fuel For The U.S. Navy And Commercial Domestic Operations. The Plant Also Processes Weapons-Grad Uranium Into Low-Enriched Nuclear Reactor Fuel. The Review Meeting Will Be Held May 18Th At The Unicoi County Courthouse From 6:30 To 8Pm.
