The Carter County Sheriff’s Office Is Continuing To Investigate A Homicide That Left An Elizabethton Man Dead. The Body Of 63 Year Old William “Bill” Hitchcock Jr. Was Found Lying In The Driveway Of His Home On Old Stoney Creek Road April 1st. A Preliminary Autopsy Determined The Cause Of Death Was A Gunshot Wound. Authorities Are Offering A $1500 Reward For Information On The Homicide. Anyone With Information Is Asked To Contact The Carter County Sheriff’s Office.
