Washington County Tennessee Leaders Have Endorsed A Change To Allow Voters More Polling Place Options On Election Day. The Pending Legislation In Nashville Would Allow For Multiple Voting Centers To Be Established In Each County. Currently, On Election Day, You Can Only Vote At A Specifically Assigned Location Based On Your Address. With This Change, You Could Go To Any Of The Voting Centers In Your County With A Valid Photo Id. The Legislation Is Co-Sponsored By Senator Rusty Crowe Of Johnson City, State Representatives Rebecca Alexander Of Jonesborough And Tim Hicks Of Gray. This Concept Has Been Used In Other Parts Of The State For Decades.
