A Regional Drug Rehabilitation Center For Our Region Is Close To Opening Its Doors. Northeast Tennessee Regional Recovery Center Will Be Located In The Old Roan Mountain Prison And Is A Partnership Among Nine Local Counties. Non-Profit Organization, Families Free, Will Operate The Facility And Has Already Been Issued Funds To Make Renovations And Hire Staff. Carter County Mayor Patty Woodby Said They Hope To Have 45 New Patients At The Facility By The End Of May Or Early June.
