The Carter County Commission Has Voted To Transfer Ownership Of The County’s Workforce Development Complex To The State Of Tennessee. This Is Another Step In Bringing A First-Of-It’s-Kind 40-Million Dollar Higher Education Facility To The Tri-Cities Area. The Center Will Be The First To House Both TCAT And Community College Classes In One Location. If All Goes As Planned, The Campus Should Be Open Within Two Years. The General Assembly Still Has To Pass The Proposed Budget By July, In Order For The County To Receive The Money For The Project.
