A Virginia State Trooper Is Recovering From Injuries He Sustained In Car Crash In Washington County. Authorities Said A Car Was Traveling South On Interstate 81 Too Fast To Brake For Slowed Traffic In An Active Work Zone. The Driver, Curtis Williams Jr. Of Kingsport Made A Lane Change To Avoid Traffic And Rear Ended The Trooper. The Officer Suffered Minor Injuries And Was Taken To An Area Hospital To Be Checked Out. Williams Was Not Injured And Was Charged With Reckless Driving For Failure To Maintain Control Of His Vehicle.
