The Sullivan County Budget Committee Is Proposing The County Cease Operations With Observation Knob Park. This Would Terminate The County’s Lease Immediately With The Tennessee Valley Authority. Members Of The Administrative Committee Don’t Believe The Park Is Viable And Electrical Upgrades Will Cost In Excess Of A Half-A-Million Dollars. The Full Commission Could Decide On The Matter At A March 16th Meeting.
