The Kingsport Board Of Mayor And Aldermen Decided To Move Forward With A Proposed Annexation That Could Bring Hundreds Of New Homes To The Model City. The Shipp Springs Annexation Was Passed On First Reading Last Night After The Owner Requested The Annexation And Rezoning To Allow For The Development Of 581 Residential Units. The Proposed Annexation Will Be Voted On For A Second Time At The Board’s March 21st Business Meeting.
