Johnson City Leaders Have Deferred Action On A Rezoning Request After Nearby Residents Voiced Concerns About The Proposed Residential Project. The Rezoning Request Has Been Sent Back To The Planning Commission For Further Review. The Plot Of Land In Question Is A 2.5 Acre Tract Along Cherokee Road That Would Allow For 16 Townhouses To Be Built. Nearby Residents Are Concerned About An Increase In Traffic.
