A House Fire In Wise County Has Claimed A Life. The Big Stone Gap And Appalachia Fire Departments Responded To The Fire In The 400 Block Of Callahan Avenue Early Friday Morning. An Unidentified Victim Was Located And Pulled From The Home. Resuscitation Efforts Were Unsuccessful. The Name Of The Victim Has Not Been Released. The Virginia State Police And Wise County Sheriff’s Office Is Investigating The Cause Of The Fire.
