The Tennessee College Of Applied Technology Elizabethton Campus Could Be Receiving 40-Million Dollars To Establish A New Workforce Development Partnership. The Money Is Part Of Governor Bill Lee’s Fiscal Year 2024 Budget Proposal. The Funds Would Transform The Former Facility Into The Carter County Higher Education Center. This Will Help Foster Plans For A Partnership With Northeast State Community College And Carter County Schools. If The General Assembly Passes The Budget, The Workforce Center Could Be Open By This Fall.
