The Virginia Department Of Transportation Has Closed A Bridge In Scott County Indefinitely Following An Inspection. The Bridge On Fraleytown Road Over The North Fork Of The Clinch River In Duffield Was Found To Have Extensive Deterioration On The Top Portion. Repair Options Are Being Evaluated And The Bridge Is Tentatively Scheduled For Replacement In The Summer Of 2024. Drivers Should Use Route 638 To Detour To Route 604
