Just Over A Million Dollars In Grant Funding Has Been Awarded To The Birthplace Of Country Music Museum In Downtown Bristol, Virginia. The Money Is Being Provided Through Both The Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission And Federal Funding. It Will Help Pay For An Expansion Project, Which Will Add 41-Thousand Square Feet By Acquiring And Remodeling The Former Automotive Service & Supply Building Next Door. Work On The Project Is Expected To Take Up To 24 Months.
