Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares Has Filed A Lawsuit On Behalf Of The Virginia Department Of Environmental Quality And Two Other Agencies. It Accuses The City Of Several Violation. The Suit Says The Plaintiffs Are Entitled For Up To $32,000 Per Day For Each Violation. They Are Also Seeking An Injunction. Bristol Virginia Leaders Responded By Saying The Suit Provides An Opportunity For All Parties To Reach An Agreement On A Consent Decree.
