The Washington County Tennessee Sheriff’s Office Has Received A Million Dollar State Grant To Help Reduce Repeat Offenders At The County’s Detention Center. The Money Will Be Used To Help Develop The Work Skills Of Inmates Serving Time. These Will Include A GED Program, Substance Abuse Treatment, Job Training And More. Sheriff Keith Sexton Said He Wants To Help Make Sure Inmates Have A Valid Driver’s License, A Job, And A Place To Live When They Leave The Lockup So They Can Meet Their Obligations.
