High School Athletes In Tennessee Can Now Get Paid For Their Name, Image, And Likeness. The Tennessee Secondary School Athletics Association Legislative Council Voted On The Change This Week In Murfressboro. Students Would Be Permitted To Receive Payment For Activities Not Related To Performance As Long As It Does Not Suggest The Endorsement Or Sponsorship Of Their School. They Could Also Get Paid For Instruction Services Without Violating The Amateur Rules. The New Rule Goes Into Effect Immediately.
