The Elizabethton City Council Passed On First Reading An Increase In Garbage Pickup Services For Residents. The Proposed Two Dollar Fee Will Increase For Residential Service And A Five Dollar Increase For Businesses. This Would Raise The Residential Rate To $15 Per Month And Commercial Rates Would Jump To $30 Per Month. The Proposal Will Be Discussed Again At The January 12th Meeting.
