Wise County And The City Of Norton Virginia Have A New Commonwealth Attorney. Brett Hall Took The Oath Of Office Last Week After Being Elected On November 8th In A Special Election To Fill The Seat Of Former Commonwealth Attorney Chuck Slemp. Hall Is A Lifelong Resident Of Wise County. Immediately After Being Sworn In, Hall Announced His Appointment Of Steven Davis As Chief Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney. In A Press Release, Hall Said He Will Focus On Making Sure People Are Punished For Serious Crimes.
