The Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation Has Released The Name Of The Person Killed In An Officer-Involved Shooting Over The Weekend In Johnson City. 51 Year Old Jerome Flanigan Was Killed Saturday Evening After Washington County Deputies Responded To The Cash Hollow Road Area In Reference To A Man Wanted On Felony Warrants. The Subject Fled On Foot, Resulting In A Chase By Officers. Sheriff Keith Sexton Said During The Pursuit, The Suspect Fired A Handgun At Officers And That’s When A Responding Deputy Returned Fire, Striking The Male. Flanigan Was Pronounced Dead At The Scene. No Officers Were Injured. The TBI Is Continuing To Investigate The Shooting.
