As Traffic Congestion Increases Across The State Of Tennessee, So Does The Cost Of The Potential Solutions To Help Ease The Problem. According To The Tennessee Department Of Transportation, It’s Going To Require 26-Billion Dollars Of Spending To Correct The Problem. 14-Billion Of That Would Go To Projects Around The Major Urban Areas Of Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville, And Memphis. The Implementation Of Toll Lanes On Some Highways Are Also Being Considered. TDOT Is Still Working On Ideas For Solutions.
