The Tbi Is Assisting The Elizabethton Police Department In A Crash/Shooting Incident Early This Morning. Officers Responded To The Area Of Oakmont Drive To A Report Of A Vehicle Driving Up And Down The Road Revving Its Engine. While Officers Were In Route, Another Call Came In Of Shots Fired In The Area. Upon Arrival, A Two Vehicle Crash Was Found. One Of The Vehicles Was Occupied With An Unresponsive Male Who Had Been Shot And Found To Be Deceased. There Were No Other Occupants Found In Either Vehicle. An Investigation Is Continuing Into The Circumstances Surrounding This Incident. There Is No Continued Threat To The Community. Anyone With Information Is Asked To Contact The Elizabethton Police Department.
