The Sullivan County Commission Has Unanimously Approved A Resolution To Support A Proposed Bill In The Tennessee General Assembly. The Bill If Passed Would Protect Teachers From Being Fired, Reprimanded, Or Sued If They Use Pronouns Consistent With A Students Biological Sex As Shown On A Birth Certificate. State Representative Bud Hulsey Said No Other Counties Have Signed On In Support Yet But He Is Hoping They Follow Suit Soon.
