A Proposal To The Lee County Virginia Planning Commission To Rezone Agricultural Land To House Explosives Has Been Postponed Until Next Month Due To A Lack Of A Quorum. The Commission Will Hear Appalachia Explosives’ Request To Establish A Storage Facility Which Would Operate Under Federal And State Safety Regulations. County Officials Say Blasting Would Not Be Part Of The Use For The Site. The Meeting Is Set To Take Place December 21St At 5Pm.
