The Appalachian Regional Commission Has Awarded The United Way Of Southwest Virginia $100,000 For The Hurley-Whitewood Disaster Recovery Project. The Project Will Help 129 Households With Flood Relief And Constructing Of Fixing 50 Homes. Fema Previously Denied Individual Assistance To Both Hurley And Whitewood Residents After They Were Impacted By The Floods.
