The Virginia Department Of Forestry Says Fire Crews Are In The Mop-Up Phase Of A 500-Acre Wildfire That Ravaged Buchanan County Over The Weekend. The Crews Are Going Back To The Fire Lines And Looking For Hotspots And Other Concerning Areas. Just Last Week, There Was A 400-Acre Fire In Lee County And Another 200-Acre Fire Near The Area This Past Weekend. Forestry Officials Are Reminding Folks To Not Burn Anything Outside, Especially During Dry Weather And Windy Conditions.
