An Abingdon Virginia Man Who Was Struck Last Week While Walking In The Eastbound Lane Of Route 670, Has Died. The Man Has Been Identified As 54 Year Old Larry Hackney. Virginia State Police Said Hackney Was Walking In The Roadway With His Back To Traffic When He Was Struck By A 2018 Mercedes C300. Police Also Said He Was Wearing Dark, Non-Reflective Clothing. He Was Pronounced Dead At The Scene. The Driver Of The Car Was Not Charged.
