Virginia Has Received Its First Payment From A 99-Million Dollar Opioid Settlement From Pharmaceutical Company, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Which Is Owned By Johnson & Johnson. The First Payment Of Over 67-Million Dollars Will Be Split Into 11 Million For The State, 16 Million For The Localities, And 40 Million For The Opioid Abatement Authority. This Is The Latest In A Series Of Settlements The Commonwealth Has Been Involved In With Opioid Manufacturers And Producers.
