The Kingsport Board Of Education Has Appointed Dobyns-Bennett High School Principal Dr. Chris Hampton As Interim Superintendent Of Schools. He Will Take Over The Position On November 1st. Current Superintendent Dr. Jeff Moorhouse Is Retiring On October 30th. The Board Also Approved An Employment Contract With Hampton Which Will Have Him Receiving A Base Salary Of $160,000 Plus An Automobile And Home Office Allowance.
