The Utility Has Informed The Virginia Corporation Commission Of A Base Rate Hike Of Just Over 6-Percent. The Increase Stems From A Request Denied By The Scc Back In 2020. The Increase Will Take Place In Two Steps. The First Rate Hike Takes Effect October 1St. The Second Increase Will Happen November 1St. The Total Average Added To Each Bill Will Be Roughly 30 Dollars Monthly.
