East Tennessee State University Is Opening Its First Recovery Community Center In Northeast Tennessee, Thanks To A Million Dollars Received From The Washington County Commission As A Result Of “Baby Doe” Opioid Lawsuit Funding. The Johnson City Recovery Center Is Based On A Model From Harvard’s Recovery Research Institute. Its Meant To Provide A Safe, Recovery-Oriented Environment. An Opening Date For The Center Has Not Yet Been Determined.
