Kingsport Leaders Are Working Through A List Of Projects They Would Like To Spend 5 Million In Federal American Rescue Plan Act Dollars On. The List Has Been Narrowed To Five Projects, Which Include Renovating The Library, Building A New Fire Station Number 2, Renovating The Justice Center, Park Improvements Throughout The City, And Updating The Academic Village. A Majority Of City Leaders Are Leaning Toward The Renovation Of The Library. No Formal Decision Has Been Made. Further Discussions Expected In The Near Future.
