Peta Is Requesting Action Be Taken Against A Greeneville Meat Packing Company. Snapps Ferry Packing Is Alleged To Have Repeatedly Shot Cows And Pigs In The Head, And Left Others Without Water. The Allegations Were Made By The U.S. Department Of Agriculture Last Year. Workers At The Business Have Denied The Allegations. Peta Has Issued A Letter To The District Attorney’s Office Asking For Criminal Charges Be Placed Against The Workers Responsible. District Attorney General Dan Armstrong’s Office Has Declined To Comment At This Time.
