Kingsport Leaders Are Expected To Approve Funding Models For Two Housing Projects In The Model City. They Are Brickyard Village And Centennial Row Townhouses, Which Will Both Be Located Near Main Street Downtown. Brickyard Village Will Include 386 Housing Units, While Centennial Row Townhouses Will Consist Of 32 Units At The Former Location Of Citizen Supply Warehouse. Each Project Will Be Partially Financed Through Tax Increment Financing.
