More Than 6-Million Dollars In Grant Funding Will Provide A Boost To The Lonesome Pine Regional Industrial Facilities Authority In Duffield Virginia. The Money, Which Is Being Provided Through The U.S. Department Of Commerce, Will Be Used For “Project Intersection” At The Junction Of U.S. Route 23 And U.S. Alternate Route 58 In Norton. The Money Will Help Fund The Cost To Build A Planned 28-Thousand Square Foot Earthlink Broadband Customer Service Building At The Site, Which Is Expected To Bring Roughly 200 Jobs. Work On The Project Is Set To Be Completed By Early 2024.
