Carter County Leaders Have Chosen A Contractor To Provide New Emergency Communications Equipment. The Decision Was Made To Go With The Tennessee Advance Communications Network And Motorola With A Price Tag Of Just Over 4-Million Dollars. This Will Include The Installation Of Three Additional Antennas To Cover Most Of The Mountainous Terrains Of The County. A Spokesman For Motorola Solutions Said This Will Provide 98-Percent Mobile Coverage And Is Being Paid For Using American Rescue Plan Act Money. It’S Unclear When The Project Will Be Completed.
