A KINGSPORT TEEN AND THREE OTHER JUVENILES ACCUSED OF NEARLY BEATING A MAN TO DEATH CHRISTMAS EVE ARE BEHIND BARS. 18 YEAR OLD TRAVIS BELLEW AND TWO OTHER MALE JUVENILES ARE CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED FIRST DEGREE MURDER AND ESPECIALLY AGGRAVATED ROBBERY. A FEMALE JUVENILE IS CHARGED WITH FILING A FALSE POLICE REPORT. ALL FOUR ARE ACCUSED OF FORCING THEIR WAY INTO A MODEL CITY APARTMENT CHRISTMAS EVE AND BEATING 44 YEAR OLD RANDALL BLAIR WITH A BASEBALL BAT. BLAIR WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL HOSTPITAL WHERE HE REMAINS IN CRITICAL CONDITION. BELLEW IS CURRENTLY BEING HELD IN THE KINGSPORT JAIL WITHOUT BOND AND WILL BE ARRAIGNED LATER TODAY. THE THREE JUVENILES ARE BEING HELD AT THE JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER IN JOHNSON CITY.
