A Joint Effort Is Underway By The Federal Emergency Management Agency But Doesn’T Guarantee Federal Assistance To Residents Affected By Damage To Homes And Property. No Cost Estimates Have Been Released At This Time. The American Red Cross And The Virginia Department Of Emergency Management Is Still Helping Folks Who Have Been Displaced By The Flooding. A Preliminary Report Determined 30 Homes And Six Commercial Properties Were Destroyed And 31 Homes And Six Businesses Had Major Damage.
