Kingsport Leaders Have Been Asked By The Parks And Recreation Department To Consider Investing In Revitalizing Holston Riverfront To Make It A Destination Point. The Idea Is To Have A Riverfront Transformation Such As Those In Knoxville, Chattanooga, And Greeneville, South Carolina. The City Has Five Million Dollars To Spend And A List Of Roughly Ten Potential Projects. City Leaders Are Expected To Continue Discussing Ideas And Options In The Coming Months.
