The Wise County Virginia School System Has A New Superintendent. Human Resource Director, Dr. Mike Goforth Has Been Chosen By The School Board To Fill The Top Spot. Goforth Was Chosen From A Field Of Five Candidates, And Will Serve A Four Year Term. He Will Replace Greg Mullins Who Recently Announced His Retirement. Goforth’S Salary Will Be 125-Thousand Dollars Per Year Plus Benefits And A Work Vehicle. He Will Start His New Position Today.
