Bristol, Tennessee Filed A Stipulation In U.S. District Court In Abingdon June 14Th Requesting The Injunction Order To Have Bristol Virginia Move Forward With Actions To Resolve Its Complaint Regarding The Operation Of Its Landfill. A Judge Issued The Order Which Requires The City To Pay Bristol Tennessee 250-Thousand Dollars. It Also Requires The Installation Of Thermocouples To Monitor Temperatures As Well As An Odor Mitigation System Around The Perimeter Of The Facility. In Addition, The Acceptance Of Waste Must Cease And A Cover Must Be Installed Within 90 Days. The Meeting Gets Underway This Evening At 6Pm.
