The Washington County Tennessee Commission Has Passed The 2022-23 Fiscal Year Budget Without A Property Tax Increase. This Includes A 5% Pay Raise For All County Employees As Well As Additional Raises To Those In Key Sectors Across The County. Meanwhile, County Commissioners Moved Forward With Transferring Ownership Of The Historic Ash Street Courthouse To The City Of Johnson City. The Building Is Expected To Become A Building Hub. Also, The County’s Attorney, Allyson Wilkinson, Will Now Report Directly To The County Commission And Not The County’s Mayor.
