The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Is Continuing To Investigate A Fatal Boating Accident On The Holston River In Hawkins County. Authorities Said An Unoccupied Aluminum Boat Was Found Near The Boat Ramp At Christian’s Bend. The Boat Didn’t Appear To Have Been Involved In A Collision. Rescue Crews Responded And Located The Body Of A 51-Year Old White Male Face Down In The Water About 200 Yards From The Boat. Twra Officials Said The Victim’s Body Was Recovered And Has Been Sent For An Autopsy. The Incident Remains Under Investigation.
